Renovation of an educational facility in Malta, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 19,500-square-foot educational facility.
Caukin Automotive Lower Roof Replacement. Scope of work: The project involves the replacement of the existing roofing system at Caukin Automotive on the Kishwaukee College Campus. The selected contractor shall provide the following services: 1. Prepare for new roof *Remove any organic material and slice existing roof. 2. Wood nailers: *Add wood nailers as necessary to provide secure attachments points for the new roofing system. 3. Insulation *Mechanically fasten one layer of 1.5" isocyanurate insulation over the existing roof to improve thermal performance. 4. Tapered Insulation: *Install tapered insulation along the gutter to ensure proper water drainage and prevent ponding. 5. New roof installation *Install a black 60 mil EPDM roofing material adhering to the manufacture's specification and industry standards. 6. Prefinished Metal Edge: *Provide and install new prefinished metal edge at the perimeter of the roof for a clean finish and improved durability. 7. Gutters and downspouts: *Supply and install new gutters and downspouts to ensure efficient water drainage away from the building. 8. Provide walk off tile's *150' of walk off tiles to Rtu4, Caukin upper roof ladder, and Caukin mid roof ladder. 9. Warranty: *Furnish a twenty-year manufacturer's warranty for the roofing materials used in the project. 10. Disposal *Contractor is responsible for removal of all debris
