Demolition, site work, paving and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Malta, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; for paving for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.
Demolition of the buildings, associated concrete pads, paving, equipment, plumbing, electrical as indicated and specified. Includes asbestos abatement for 218 Adams Street and 404 N. 4th Street. All bidders shall note the following: (1) construction monies will be drawn from local funds on hand (2) the successful contractor will be paid on a monthly basis according to the approved estimate of completed work; (3) the Village of Malta strongly urges all contractors to employ the use of local subcontractors, suppliers, and trades as much as possible for this contract. Each proposal must be accompanied by check, or bid bond, payable to the Village of Malta for the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal. The Village of Malta reserves the right to reject any or all bids on each proposal, and to waive any information therein or to accept any proposal considered in the best interest of the Village of Malta
