Renovation of an educational facility in Malta, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for the Fire Alarm Replacement for Kishwaukee College. Lump sum bid proposals are required, and bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid amount must be submitted. Bidders must comply with Illinois Law regarding prevailing wages and statutory requirements for labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. It is the policy of the College to promote economic development for businesses owned by minorities, females, and persons with disabilities, and bidders must be BEP Certified Vendors if applicable. All questions regarding the bid must be submitted in writing to the designated engineering contact. Respondents are strictly forbidden from contacting or visiting College trustees, employees, vendors, contractors, or subcontractors regarding the Invitation to Bid unless authorized in writing.
