Scope of Work to be performed under this improvement shall generally consist of the installation of improved drainage infrastructure in the vicinity of David Lane. Work includes excavation and installation of storm sewers and inlets, re-paving and grading. The Above Improvement shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents, on file in the City Engineer's Office, 6000 Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. The City of Mason reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Mason reserves the right to add to or to subtract from the contract quantities. Last time for Questions to be taken from Contractors is 12:00 PM, September 28, 2023. All questions must be submitted through Bid Express Q&A section. No questions shall be answered by any other means. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Upon award of the contract, the contractor shall provide a Contract Bond to the City (l00% of the Bid Amount). Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity.
