The Lake Sunapee Protective Association (LSPA) has prepared this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in cooperation with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) to solicit submittals from qualified engineering contractors to provide the deliverables requested in the subject Scope of Work. This project consists of stabilizing areas using best management practices (BMPs) where stream bank erosion and slumping occur along a stretch of Kidder Brook running through the Twin Lake Village Golf Course located in the town of Springfield. The BMPs consist of re-establishing a floodplain area, plantings along 560 feet of the brook and stabilizing 70 feet of eroding bank area using a bioengineering approach. The result of having these proposed BMPs implemented will be to prevent bank erosion and sedimentation within the brook LSPA reserves the right to reject any or all of the submittals while adhering to applicable laws.
