The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to place and compact fill material and install concrete sidewalk, crushed aggregate path and play pieces at Credit Island Park in Davenport. Davenport Parks will provide the fill material, mulch, boulders, permanent seeding and all play equipment. The contract time shall be per SUDAS Section 1080-1.02, A.3.a, Specified Start Date. The contract site is currently available. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded on 25 October, 2023. The Notice to Proceed will be issued as soon as the contract is executed by the City.
The contractor shall begin construction on or before the date specified and complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment prior to 1 August, 2024.
INSTALLATION OF NATURE PLAYGROUND AND WORK INCIDENTAL THERETO IN AND FOR THE CITY OF DAVENPORT, IOWA For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Working Days - The Contractor shall complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment for the bid by August 1, 2024.
