Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a transportation facility in Miami, Florida. Design plans call for the addition of a transportation facility.
Phase 1: - Four-level renovation and expansion of Central Terminal. - Addition of a post-security corridor between Concourses E and F. - Increased post-security concession areas. Phase 2: - Expansion of queuing area. - Raising the existing ceiling and roof structure to bring more natural light. - New vertical circulation core with escalators and elevators. - Consolidation of TSA checkpoints in Concourses E and F. - Renovation of second-level departure curbside façade, blending the exterior appearance of the airport. As of June 2, 2026, this project is in the design phase. Construction is expected to start in 2028 and be completed in 2030-2031.
