Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Valencia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes: Mobilization; Traffic Control; Clearing and Grubbing; E&S Controls; Type M Inlets with grade adjustment ring; Endwalls; 15", 18" and 24" PESIP; Underdrain; Asphalt paving; Concrete Sidewalk; Seeding; Granular backfill. Each bid shall be made on the form provided in the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or cashiers check in a sum equal to ten percent ( 10%) ofthe total bid amount made payable to Valencia Borough furnished by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Attention is called to the fact that Federal Prevailing Wages and the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act apply to this project. Additional provisions of funding are included in Supplemental Instructions to Bidders and Supplementary Conditions in the Project Manual. Bids may be held by the Borough for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening bids for the purposes of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. Valencia Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award a contract in its best interest ofValencia Borough.
