Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Valencia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.

The project includes all labor, materials, items and/or equipment, and transportation as necessary for the construction of an approximate 23-ft wide by 40-ft long prefabricated multi-girder steel beam bridge with a reinforced concrete deck on cast-in-place slab abutments, including other site improvements, to carry Township Road T-840 (Victory Road) over Davis Run. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% is required. The Project is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rate requirements. Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be required of the Successful Bidder. Questions regarding this Bid shall be submitted in writing to the Township Manager via email at clinton@myclintontwp.net per guidance outlined in the bidding documents. Verbal requests will not be accepted. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. The Township reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities in the bid submission and the unqualified right to reject any and all Bids. It is proposed, upon execution of the Contract, to start construction on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed and to execute all of the said work so as to complete construction within one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days after the specified date. The final completion date will be negotiated and mutually agreed upon prior to the commencement of the Work.
