Renovation of a library in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Project Description: New Main Library in Uptown Charlotte is 110,000 +/- sqft and is five stories plus basement and penthouse. New Main Library will connect to the adjacent existing Spirit Square which includes renovation of the historic McGlohon Theater and Duke Energy Theater. This bid phase includes the following Bid Packages: 03A Complete Concrete Sub and Superstructures 07A Roofing and Accessories 07E Exterior Metal Panel Systems 18A.1 General Works 21A Fire Protection 22A Plumbing Systems 23A HVAC Systems 26A Electrical 31A Complete Sitework 31C Deep Foundation Systems Prequalification: Bid Proposals will only be accepted from companies who previously prequalified for a specific bid package on this project. *Construction will begin in Q1 2024 and run through 2025. There are also 30+ additional bid packages which are not out for bid yet, but likely will bid in February 2024. *Addendum 4 posted. *Addendum 5 has been posted which includes Architect Addendum #4.
