Proposals must be completed and delivered in sufficient time to avoid disqualification for lateness due to difficulties in delivery. Delays due to electronic transmission the proposal, including delays by the university's computer network, will be the responsibility of the Proposer. In compliance with this Request for Proposal and to all the conditions imposed therein, and hereby incorporated by reference, the Undersigned offers and agrees to furnish the services in accordance with the signed proposal or as mutually agreed upon by subsequent negotiations. By submitting a proposal to California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) proposer has acknowledged and agreed to contract under the Rider A- Agreement General Provisions, Service Provider provisions and adjoining documents that make up the CSU Service Agreement Contract Template. CSUCI reserves the right to reject all proposals/bids. CSUCI also reserves the right to make any scheduling changes that are deemed necessary to this bid process. Award, if any, will be to the proposer whose proposal best complies with all requirements of the bid document. Period of the Contract: Services shall be performed during the period of approximately November 1, 2023 to August 10, 2025. It may take an extra week or two to complete CSUCI paperwork before NTP is issued, but these are the intended dates. Estimate of the Work: In addition to listing Unit Costs, the bidder shall by using the Docs in the bid folders, submit a Proposed Estimate of Testing and Inspection Services necessary for completion of the project per CSU standards for quality control, records, and reports. o See Appendix C below for this line item for the bidding. Note: the campus has a full time Inspector of Record. Daily inspections are not part of this bidding. This bidding is only for those that require independent testing laboratory type inspections and/or testing as delineated in the documents list and specifications.
