Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Colfax, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; water / sewer project; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

As of October 23, 2024, this project is on hold. A timeline for construction has not been established and the project may not move forward as originally intended. The Port of Whitman County (Port) requests proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide professional engineering and environmental services to assist the Port with a proposed industrial development for a 12-acre lot at the Port of Whitman Business Air Center (POWBAC) in Colfax, Washington. The project will consist of the final design and permitting of the necessary roads, bridge, utilities, and grading required to ensure pad-ready building sites. Project will be designed as one phase, but plans should incorporate a low-impact phasing scheme. All design and approvals shall meet Whitman County and State of Washington codes and standards. The primary deliverable is a "shovel-ready" project that incorporates all the necessary engineering and environmental components. Question Deadline 10/12/2023 at 12:00 PM PT All questions must be submitted in writing to Kara Riebold at kara@portwhitman.com. Questions received after this deadline may not be considered. All questions and answers will be posted The Port reserves the right to waive any minor irregularity and/or reject any and all firms and cancel the procurement. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
