The City of Cerritos is requesting proposals from qualified traffic engineering consultants interested in providing professional engineering services to provide support and expertise in the application of traffic engineering principles and practices to provide and enhance the safety and efficient movement of pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicular traffic of people and goods within the City. This work is to be performed on an on-call, flexible service basis. The City's final selection criteria will be based on, but not limited to, the following analysis: Completeness of proposal. Firm's and key project team members' record in accomplishing work assignments for similar projects. The resources and fee required for performing the requested services. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or portions thereof, or to waive any informality or irregularity in a proposal to the extent allowed by law. Proposals must be marked: "PROPOSAL - ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR TRAFFIC ENGINEERING SERVICES, RFP NO. 1525-23- DO NOT OPEN." The not-to-exceed fee proposal shall be placed in a separate sealed envelope and submitted as part of the consultant's submittal package.
