The base coat should be clean, dry, sound, and free of dust, dirt, and other contaminants before application of the topcoat. - Apply High Solids silicone topcoat in a timely manner upon completion of base coat to insure proper adhesion between coats. The topcoat should be applied per manufacturer specifications to achieve a minimum dry film thickness at approximately 10 mils. - Apply ceramic granules @ 30 lbs. per square broadcast into the wet topcoat for proper granule adhesion. - After all the work is complete, remove all job-related debris and surplus materials and leave the premises in a neat and orderly condition. - The new roof system should be fire rated class "A" per UL 790. The Roofing System shall be BASF Preferred and qualify for the manufacturer's ten-year (10) guarantee. The roofing guarantee shall include labor and materials.
