Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Gleason, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of: 1. Replacing 675 existing meters with new AMI meters. 2. Replacement of damaged Meter Boxes. 3. Installation of new PEXa Service Line. 4. Installation of new Curb Stops. 5. Clearing, grubbing, seeding, strawing, restoration; 6. All other necessary and incidental work to complete the project in accordance with these plans and specifications. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Provisions for liquidated damages, if any, for failure to timely attain a Milestone, Substantial Completion, or completion of the Work in readiness for final payment, are set forth in the Agreement. Contractor and Owner recognize that time is of the essence asstated in Paragraph 4.01 above and that Owner will suffer financial and other losses if the Work is not completed and Milestones not achieved within the Contract Times, as duly modified. The parties also recognize the delays, expense, and difficulties involved in proving, in a legal or arbitration proceeding, the actual loss suffered by Owner if the Work is not completed on time. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing
