This project shall consist of: Snow Plowing of the 90 road from M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 16.3 and M.P. 44.00 to M.P. 42.96 on the 25 Road. Bid proposals shall be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, based upon the approximate estimate of quantities. All such amounts are subject to forfeiture, in accordance with RCW 47.28.100, if successful bidder fails to enter into contract and bond. Skamania County in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act 1964, 78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, all disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. Skamania County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive informalities that are not, in the opinion of the County Commissioners, material. The County Commissioners may award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
