Site work and paving for a civil project in Marshfield, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Cassady Bridge - was awarded to JP Sicard for $169,847.00. Beaver Meadow Brook - was awarded to Hogan Excavating for $8,000. Nasmith Brook - Army Corps is still processing the permit application. October 25th is the projected completion date. Once complete it will be put out to multiple agencies for review. If no agency has any objections it will move forward and they can award the bid. If any of those agencies have any issues or questions, it could further delay this project. Railroad Bed - There was a motion to dismiss the lowest bid as it didn't appear the contractor calculated material according to specs. The Town of Marshfield is seeking bids for three emergency repair projects: Installation of a temporary bridge on Cassady Road Repair of the Railroad Bed Repair of a land slip on Nasmith Brook Road.
