The EMS Station, located at 818 3rd Street, Chipley, Florida 32428, requires a contractor to provide all necessary services and materials to complete a comprehensive wind mitigation project. Roof Replacement: The existing roof of the Washington County EMS Station will be replaced with a standing seam metal roof. The estimated dimensions of the roof are approximately 40'x72'. However, bidders must field verify the dimensions to ensure accuracy. The winning bidder will be responsible for providing all required materials, equipment, and labor for the roof replacement. Window(s) and Door(s) Replacement: Windows and doors at the Washington County EMS Station will be replaced with hurricane-rated products. The approximate dimensions of the windows are as follows: (9) 31"x28" (1) 36"x37 The approximate dimensions of the doors are as follows: (2) 40"x82" Bidders must field verify the exact dimensions of the openings to ensure proper fitting. The winning bidder will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, equipment, and labor for the window and door upgrades. Wind Protection for Openings: All other openings, such as vents, louvers, and exhaust fans, at the Washington County EMS Station must also be equipped with wind protection measures. The installation of wind protections must comply with the Florida Building Code or Miami Dade Specifications. All materials used for wind protection must be certified to meet wind and impact standards. The winning bidder will be responsible for providing all required materials, equipment, and labor for the wind protection installations.
