Reference Number 0000256901 The work includes, but is not limited to all labour, materials, equipment and supervision required to remove snow and control ice as described in the Statement of Work at various following sites: Truro Armouries, Debert Rifle Range, Great Village Site, Masstown Site, Pictou Armoury, Springhill Armoury, and Amherst Armour. NOTE: There is no site visit scheduled for this opportunity. The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $295,200.00 with the option to extend for 2 additional one-year periods for a total estimated value of $885,600.00. This contract will be in place from Contract award date to April 30, 2024. We understand that if mutually agreed between the Contractor and DCC, this Contract may be extended for one (1) additional period from November 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025 and then one (1) additional period from November 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, under the same terms and conditions. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Chapter Nineteen of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-GPA). The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in Amendment No.1 to the tender documents. Bidders who address their questions to anyone other than the point of contact during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, be disqualified. .1 Work under this Contract comprises the provisioning of all labour, material, tools and equipment required for snow removal and ice control of various areas at CFB Halifax as specified and indicated in Annex B Site Maps. Locations included in the Contract are: .1 Truro Armouries, 126 Willow St. Truro, NS; .2 Debert Rifle Range, Plains Road, Debert, NS; .3 Great Village TX Site, 600 Mill Lane Rd., Great Village, NS; .4 Masstown RX Site, Intersection of Highway 2 and John Murray Road, Masstown, NS; .5 Pictou Armoury, 44 Dawson St., Pictou, NS; .6 Springhill Armoury, 2½ North St., Springhill, NS; and .7 Amherst Armoury, 34 Acadia St. Amherst, NS. .2 The Contractor will not be responsible for snow removal and ice control on City owned sidewalks and driveways surrounding DND properties. .3 Temporary stockpiling (up to 48 hours) will be permitted in designated areas specified and indicated in Annex B. Additional temporary stockpiling locations must be approved in advance by the Defence Construction Canada (DCC) Representative. .4 Permanent stockpiling is not permitted on any site.
