The proposed project includes the CIPP lining of the 24-inch diameter sanitary sewer on Elmwood Avenue from Shepard Avenue to Kenmore Avenue. The proposed project also includes the CIPP lining of the interconnecting sanitary sewers diameter ranging from 8" to 12" within the Elmwood Avenue right-of-way, and remediation of the manhole structures, including the channel, bench, walls, and frame and cover. This work is being done in preparation for and in conjunction with a proposed project by Erie County to complete curb, pavement, and drainage improvements of Elmwood Avenue from Kocher Road in the Town of Tonawanda to Kenmore Avenue in the Village of Kenmore. Each bidder shall file, with his proposal, a certified check in an amount equal to 5 percent of the amount of the bid, payable to the order of the Village of Kenmore, or a Bid Bond in like amount subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract award amount. The Village of Kenmore reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities, or to make an award to the lowest responsible bidder on the basis of his total base bid and accepted alternate, if such alternate is included in the proposal form.
