Site work and renovation of a civil project in Gordo, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of: Removal and replacement of existing vertical turbine high service pumps Removal and replacement of existing valves Removal and replacement of existing aerator tower assembly Refurbishment of existing equipment building and replacement of existing chemical and chlorination equipment Installation of diesel engine driven emergency power generator Rehabilitation of existing clear well Contract time shall be 300 consecutive calendar days from the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed for each consecutive calendar day thereafter in the amount as specified herein. Each Bidder must deposit with his proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of his bid, payable to the Gordo Water, Gas and Sewer Board, as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement, if requested by the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Gordo Water, Gas and Sewer Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
