RMOWs 2024 to 2026 (three year) Road Rehabilitation Program and the development of a Pavement Management Plan for a 5,10 and 15 year period. The scope of the work outlined within this Request for Proposal is intended to assist RMOW to making informed and cost-effective decisions related to the preservation of the Whistler pavement network by building both a short and long term reconstruction/maintenance prioritization schedule. The Road Rehabilitation Program will guide the RMOW in delivering a road reconstruction/maintenance schedule in the short term (2024-2026, inclusive) and will include a road analysis and treatment recommendations for areas to be rehabilitated based on the data supplied by the RMOW. In addition to the above the RMOW wishes to create a 5, 10 and 15-year Pavement Management Plan that provides a multi-year prioritization capital work schedule to assist in identifying pavement works in the long term. This plan will allow the RMOW to identify which paved roads require preventative maintenance, minor rehabilitations, major rehabilitations, or complete reconstruction to best allocate funding to bring all roads up to a satisfactory standard. It is the intention of the RMOW to deliver a quality road surface to its residents and visitors at a minimized long-term cost. The proponent will be required to consult with the RMOW Roads Stakeholder Team throughout the duration of the project. The stakeholder team will be made up of representatives from the Capital Projects, Transportation and Roads Team. TIUMELINE: Project was publicly tendered and awarded separately.
