The Work includes the following major items: Patching, Milling, Resurfacing, Pavement Markings, Mill Pave, Reconstruction of Concrete Curb and Gutter, Sidewalks, and ADA Curb Ramps. The Work is subject to the prevailing wage or local hiring laws of Anne Arundel County as more specifically set forth by law and by County policy. The Contractor and any subcontractor must submit the appropriate Wage Requirements Law and Local Hiring forms. The cost range for this Project is: Above $3,000,000. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond acceptable to the County for five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, payable to Anne Arundel County, Maryland; and unless so accompanied, the bid will not be considered. The check or bid bond will be forfeited to the County as liquidated damages in case the contract, performance bond, and labor and materials bonds are not executed within ten (10) days after receiving the contract for execution. Liquidated damages shall be, $1,000.00 dollars per calendar day.
