**As of December 13, 2023, project was awarded to Miller Flooring Company, Inc., and Master Care Flooring, Inc. in the total amount of $500,000.** Screen and Recoat Gym/Stage Floors at Various Schools.. Questions must be received in the Purchasing Office by Monday, October 23, 2023 @ 2:00 pm The completion date in the following years shall be on or about August 12 and punch list items on or about August 16 for summer applications. For winter applications substantial completion date is December 24th and punch items on or about December 31st. Contractor shall be notified of the new substantial completion dates prior to commencement of work. Liquidated Damages Contractor shall be charged Liquidated Damages at $500.00 per calendar day, per School and shall be included in the contract for this project. Liquidated Damages are due to AACPS after expiration of the contract time for substantial completion. AACPS reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities as required. Quantities are approximate and unit prices bid shall apply regardless of any increase or decrease in the estimated quantities shown herein. DURATION OF CONTRACT Once awarded, the contract shall remain in force and effect for a period not to exceed two (2) years from the date of award. Upon completion of this initial term, AACPS reserves the right to rebid or, at its sole option, to extend this contract for two (2), one-year periods.
