The projects consist of approximately 5,800 L.F. of 8-inch diameter SDR35 PVC sewerline, 3,100 L.F. of 10-inch diameter SDR-35 PVC sewerline, 1040 L.F. of 12-inch diameter SDR-35 PVC sewerline, including but not limited to all associated sewer appurtenances, removing and replacing existing sewer manholes and making sewer lateral connections and, 4,850 LF of 8-inch diameter PVC watermain including all water appurtenances blow-offs, air valves, fire hydrants, isolation valves, and water service meters and meter boxes. The project also consists of refurbishing 18 fire hydrants, including sewer bypassing, trenching, traffic control, surface restoration, restoration of curb and gutter, repaving and street restoration. Questions from prospective bidders affecting interpretation or corrections related to the Plans and Specifications received after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 17th 2023 will not be answered. The Engineer's Estimated Construction Cost is $6,700,680. All work under this contract shall be completed and operational within Three Hundred (300) calendar days from the date District gives written "Notice of Award" to the Contractor. Each proposal must be accompanied by: (a) cash; (b) a certified or cashier's check made payable to the "Jurupa Community Services District"; (c) equivalent cash or securities pursuant to Section 995.710 of the Code of Civil Procedure, or (d) a bid bond payable to "Jurupa Community Services District" executed by the bidder as principal Said performance bond shall be for an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price; he District has obtained from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general rate for holiday and overtime work in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft, classification, or type of workman needed to execute the contract.
