Site work for a civil project in Dos Palos, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes Canal rip rap removal and replacement with sand cement slurry lining, lowering of existing stilling well floors and inlet pipes, and placement of concrete lining aprons at existing stilling well inlets. The bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid and made payable to Henry Miller Reclamation District No. 2131 (District). The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a payment bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bonds to be secured from a financially responsible surety company, satisfactory to the District, authorized to do business in the State of California. The work is "public work" subject to prevailing wages. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, however, the District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bid, and to postpone the date of bid opening.
