The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3 of One Percent the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the Borough of Marcus Hook, be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly endorsed on the outside "Market Square Memorial Park Restoration" and be addressed to the Borough of Marcus Hook at the above address. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities in the bidding as is in the best interest of the Borough.
