Question Deadline 07/17/2024 at 9:00 AM ET Questions through Online Portal Bid of Marcus Hook 2024 Road Program. Major items include 1900 sq yds of milling and 215 tons of wearing course. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the Borough of Marcus Hook, must accompany each bid. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification Form, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Borough of Marcus Hook reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Borough. 1-1/2" to 3" milling, 5" 19.5mm base repair, 1-1/2" 9.5mm wearing course overlay A. Work Included: 1. The project consists of the repair of deteriorated road base, variable-depth milling, 1 1/2" bituminous resurfacing, and related restoration on various streets. B. Related Work: 1. Documents affecting work of this Section include, but are not necessarily limited to, General Conditions, Special Conditions, and all Sections of these Specifications.
