FY 2024 CDBG Streetscape Improvements - Walnut Street, from 10th to Dalton. Major bid items include 770 LF Curb, 3450 LF Sidewalk, 1025 SY Wearing Course Milling and Resurfacing and 6 Ornamental Street Lights. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay Program a fee of 1/3 of 1% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Marcus Hook Borough, must accompany each bid. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Public Works Employment Verification, Section 3 of the Housing & Community Development Act, Build America Buy America Act, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Borough of Marcus Hook reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Borough.
