Site work and paving for a civil project in Hemphill, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to Sabine County or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Cash currency is not acceptable as bid surety and is not to be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. A performance bond on the part of the contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A performance bond is one executed in connection with a contract in excess of $100,000 to secure fulfillment of all the contractor's obligations under the contract. A payment bond on the part of the contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A payment bond is one executed in connection with a contract in excess of $25,000 to assure payment as required by law of all persons supplying labor and material in the execution of the work provided for in the contract. Replace existing drainage structures with new including culverts; erosion control rock riprap; elevate roadways; scarify, shape and re-compact roadway subgrade and new crushed stone base with dress-up and seeding. Sabine County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate.
