Steel Fencing and Installation - Fort Thomas Treatment Plant South Reservoir The proposed work is generally described as follows: The furnishing and installation of 2330 linear feet of steel fencing at the South Reservoir of the Fort Thomas Treatment Plant, 700 Alexandria Pike, Fort Thomas, Kentucky 41075. The Work covered in this section includes furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the installation of six gates and a new welded ornamental steel fence system defined herein approximately 2330 linear feet around the Northern Kentucky Water District's ("NKWD") Fort Thomas Treatment Plant ("FTTP") South Reservoir. Contractor shall: A. Prepare surface to receive fencing installation. B. Provide all labor, equipment, and materials to install the new fence Products over the properly prepared surface in accordance with these Technical Specifications. C. Follow all Manufacturer published details for the Products, including but not limited to performing all steps required to avoid negating/voiding the manufacturer's warranty on the Products. 1.02 RELATED WORK This section intentionally left blank. 1.03 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION A. Montage Plus - Single Swing Gates - 1.75"sq x 14ga Steel Gate ends - 1.4375" x 1.5" x 14ga Rails - .75"sq x 18ga Pickets - 3.5' nominal gate opening, 40" leaf width from outside to outside. Quantity: 5. Option Selection: Heavy Commercial Hinge Kit option - 1.25" hinge clearance (x2), 3" latch clearance, and 44.25" gate post spacing. Quantity: 5 3. Montage Plus- Double Swing Gate - 12' nominal gate opening, 68" leaf width from outside to outside. Quantity: 1.
