Renovation of an educational facility in Elmwood Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,900-square-foot educational facility.
International Contractors, Inc. (ICI), as the Construction Manager for Elmwood Park Community Unit School District 401, invites you to submit a bid on interior renovations at Elm Middle School located in Elmwood Park, IL. The scope of work includes a 2,900 sf of remodel of the main office and a project alternate for a 450 sf restroom renovation. Work is scheduled to begin June 2024 and complete end of July 2024. This project is part of the State of Illinois, Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity grant program including requirements for diversity. We are looking for 18% participation from minority-owned business enterprises (MBE or WMBE) and 10% participation from women-owned business enterprises (WBE or WMBE). This MBE/WBE is based on State-certified vendors performing the direct subcontracting opportunities of the Utilization Plan (UP). Only subcontractors/suppliers certified through the State of Illinois' Business Enterprise Program will count toward meeting the utilization goals for this grant. Addendum #1-#3 have been issued as of 10-17-2023.
