Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elmwood Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work for this project consists of obtaining 28 pavement cores with base course and subgrade samples to determine the thicknesses and types of materials used in the existing pavement sections at various streets in the Village of Elmwood Park, Illinois. The approximate locations of the pavement cores are shown on the Coring Location Plan in the Appendix of this report. Site Address: various City: Elmwood Park County: Cook State/Province: IL Pre-Qualification: Yes Resurfacing work includes HMA grind and overlay, pavement patching, undercuts, curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway removal and replacement, structure adjustments, and bringing intersection curb ramps into compliance with current ADA regulations. Alleyway reconstruction includes full depth alley pavement removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement, alley apron removal and replacement. The project also includes work to restore disturbed parkways.
