Renovation of a water / sewer project in Greenville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Per addendum 3 bid date has been extended The Project consists of the addition of secondary clarifiers, return activated sludge pumping, and appurtenances to the GUC Wastewater Water Treatment Plant. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA Investment No. 04-79-07470) and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. The project must fully comply with the EDA Contracting Provisions for Construction Projects which are included in the Bidding Documents. To the greatest extent practicable, Bidders are encouraged to purchase American-made equipment and products with funding provided under EDA financial assistance awards. Additional information is contained within the Contracting Provisions for Construction Projects. Bidders shall also follow all applicable provisions of Davis-Bacon and Related Acts.
