**As of December 26,2023 project was awarded to Roofing Professionals Inc but awarded amount is not available.** The installation of a new mechanical seam metal roof over shingled roofing system. The existing roofing system is a loadmaster roofing system with asphalt shingled roof. The loadmaster roofing system is a metal deck, 25-gauge galvanized steel, with two (2), 1/2 " sheets of duraflex sheeting. The new mechanical seam metal roofing system should be anchored to the metal decking below the duraflex sheeting. Installation will include: a new mechanical seam metal roof (color to be picked by the owner to coordinate with surrounding buildings), new ridge cap, and new flashing around plumbing stacks. The contractor will furnish the owner with a material and labor warranty for this project, clean up area, haul trash and debris from the job sites. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, and materials required to complete this project. The locations will be occupied during the work. Camden County Board of Commissioners is currently seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors to replace the Camden County Government Services Roof. Contractors must furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment to re-roof Camden County Government Services. All contractors must submit with bid, a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. Failure to submit a bid bond with the proper rating will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Successful supplier will be required to meet insurance requirements, submit a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond. Insurance and Bonding Company should be licensed to do business by the Georgia Secretary of State, authorized to do business in Georgia by The Georgia Insurance Department, listed in the Department of Treasury's Publication of Companies holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Surety on Federal Bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies. The bid bond, payment bond, and performance bond must have an A.M. Best rating of A-5 or higher. License Requirement All firms doing business in Camden County are required to hold a current valid business license within the municipality where the home office is located.
