Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Richardson, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a golf course; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The renovation of Sherrill Park Golf Course 2 including tee, bunker, green, irrigation, and select fairway improvements as well as drainage improvements along Wood Creek and Matteson Creek, replacement of the closed-pipe system draining holes 1 and 17, reshaping of several ponds, and removal of the hole 2 pond. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check on a state or national bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the possible total of the bid submitted, payable without recourse to the City of Richardson, Texas, or an acceptable bid bond for the same amount from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute required Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of the contract. The successful contractor must furnish a Performance Bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, a material and labor Payment Bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and a Maintenance Bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, from a surety authorized under the laws of the State of Texas to act as a surety on bonds for principals within ten (10) days after the notice of award of the contract. A maximum of two hundred and seventy two (272) calendar days will be allowed for construction. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to select the bid best suited to the Owner's best interest. The successful contractor must have completed a minimum of three similar projects within the last five years. Proposers wanting further information, interpretation or clarification of the Contract Documents must make their requests in writing to the Owner via electronically, prior to Monday, November 13, 2023, at 5:00pm. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda. Any addenda issued will be published to electronically. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; and all proposals submitted are subject to this reservation. Proposals may be rejected for any of the following specific reasons: a) proposals received after the time limit for receiving proposals as stated in the advertisement or any subsequently issued addendum. b) proposals unaccompanied by the required bid security. c) proposals constituting a nonresponsive proposal. d) proposals containing unsolicited conditions or qualifications. e) failure to use the Owner's form of bid bond in submitting proposal; or f) a proposal submitted with a bid bond issued by a surplus line company or by a surety not licensed to transact insurance business in the State of Texas.
