Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Riverside, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Riverside is requesting the services of a consulting engineering firm to perform the described professional services for the project included on the attached list. Proposed Improvement: Realign northbound Route 9 on-ramp. Convert signalized intersection at W. Platte & Riverway to a roundabout. Replace signed, double intersection at Riverway & Tullison with a roundabout. Create access points directly onto Riverway from adjacent industrial area. Remove unsafe industrial access off W. Platte. Construct curb/gutter, street lighting, and bicycle/pedestrian facilities to better serve the community. The goals are to improve traffic flow & safety and provide better sight distances, truck access & turning movements. Bike/ped access will be created along with enhancing stormwater management. Riverway Boulevard is currently in MoDOT ROW. Upon project completion, it is anticipated that the ROW will be dedicated to the City of Riverside. Riverside has a detailed scope of work and has completed topographical/ boundary surveys that will be provided to the selected consultant. Consultant Services Required: The preparation of Conceptual plans, Preliminary plans, Contract plans and Right of Way Plans. Design services may include, right of way plans, geotechnical investigations, public involvement, potential environmental and historic preservation services/permits, contract documents, assisting with the bidding process, construction support/construction inspection, utility coordination/permits and traffic controls including the preparation of PS&E and final documents. Construction Phase to include: work with contractor on behalf of the City, assist with preconstruction conference, perform periodic site inspection, prepare change orders, inspect construction materials, check shop drawings submitted by contractor, conduct construction test and inspection, be present during critical construction operations, work with City to do full time inspections and reporting and participate in final inspection. Submit: Letter of interest should not exceed 4 pages total. A page is defined as 8-1/2 by 11 inches and printed on one side. 2 copies of the letter interest should be received at the address and by the time specified.
