The University of Central Missouri, hereinafter referred to as Owners, are requesting bids from qualified companies, hereinafter referred to as Contractor(s) for asbestos abatement at the Humphreys Building on the UCM Campus in Warrensburg, MO. Work shall include the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials from the entire Humphreys Building. It is the responsibility of the abatement contractor to remove any items required to complete the abatement of the building. This includes items such as Markerboards, Wall Display Units, Casework, Flooring, Ceiling Grid and Tile at the perimeter of rooms etc. The building site is located at: Humphreys Building, UCM Quad, Main Campus, Warrensburg, MO The building shall be abated progressively in three (3) sections by Building area as referenced in the Demo Plans starting with Building C. Contractor shall provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract upon award of contract. Contractor shall submit a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount at time of bid submittal. Communication made with parties outside of Procurement may result in your solicitation response being disqualified; Note: Pending any award, the bid is reviewed and evaluated for responsiveness and responsibility. No award will be made until the evaluation and review is complete by UCM. The Owners reserve the right to allow adjustments to the contract should there be a substantial change in the nature of the work involved. Such adjustments must be made in the form of a written contract amendment signed by both the Contractor and the Owners at the time of the change.
