Renovation of a water / sewer project in Erie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
A certified check payable to the Erie Water Works or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the bidder and a surety company approved by the Owner and named in the current list of "Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies" as published in Circular 570 (current edition) by the Audit Staff Bureau of Accounts, US Treasury Department must accompany the bid as bid security. Bid Security must be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) or the bid will be considered non-responsive and immediately rejected. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the Contract Documents or any applicable statues of the Commonwealth of PA or any applicable ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. EWW reserves the right to reiect any or all bids or parts thereof or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bidder shall be required to submit insurance certificate and performance bonds as outlined in the specifications. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
