**As of November 10, 2023, the Project was awarded to Brockman Construction but amount was not disclosed.** The Metcalfe County Schools will receive lump sum sealed bids from prime contractors for a Site Grading Package for the Athletic Complex at the Metcalfe County High School. This Phase 1 Grading project is to grade to subgrade for the project areas (football field and track, bleacher and concrete walk and apron areas, tennis courts, softball building expansion and detention areas) as depicted on the plans. KPDES required Erosion Control per the plans and as necessary to complete the work is also part of the project scope. The Work includes, but is not limited to, site preparation, earthwork, dewatering, lawns and grasses, storm sewerage systems and clean-up and removal of construction debris. Bid Guaranty in the form of a Bid Bond (Proposal bonds with Contractor acting as surety are not acceptable), Certified Check, or cash shall accompany each bid. The amount of the bid Guaranty shall be not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid set forth in the Proposal Form. All bid Guaranties shall be made payable to the Metcalfe County Schools. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days therefrom. The Owner reserves the right to determine the ability of any bidder to perform the work, and upon the request of the Owner, any bidder shall furnish such information as may be required to make this determination. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner and to reject any bid where evidence of information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the Bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the Contract Documents.
