The Village of Burk's Falls is seeking proposals for the cleaning of three municipal facilities. Cleaning will be required daily at the Almaguin Highlands Health Centre and Medical Building, and weekly at the Municipal Office. The Village of Burk's Falls is a single tier Municipality located 165 miles north of Toronto on the Highway 11 corridor between Huntsville and North Bay at the junction of Highways 11 and 520 in the District of Parry Sound. Burk's Falls encompasses 780 acres with 435 households and a population of 957 residents who enjoy a balance of small town living while being within easy reach of a larger city. The Village owns several municipal properties, three of which require janitorial services: 1. Almaguin Highlands Health Centre-150 Houston Street 2. Medical Building-162 Huston Street 3. Municipal Office- 172 Ontario Street This Request for Proposal will be evaluated by staff and a recommendation made to Council for the final decision. Council reserves the right to decide on part or on whole of the proposals received.
