Mechanical sweeping of the streets and parking lots, approximately 14 kms. The Proposal is for all necessary labour and equipment. 1. Complete the attached quotation form and clearly show all taxes. 2. Include a lump sum and hourly rate in your tender for extras as required. Any extra should be detailed in the submission. 3. Your price shall include the gutter to the curb, where such exists. 4. Clearly describe the type of equipment you intend to use. All equipment must be in good repair and meet all safety standards. 5. Quote on the Armour, Ryerson and Burk's Falls Memorial Arena, Almaguin Highlands Health Centre Parking Lot, Fire Department Parking Lot, and Village Parking Lot each separately. 6. You shall ensure the swept material is deposited at 150 Dimsdale Street (the east end of the old racetrack). 7. You shall use water while sweeping to minimize dust. 8. You must agree on your hours of operation with the Village Foreman prior to starting the job. Certain times of the day may be restricted for sweeping. 9. Bid amounts must remain valid for a period of 45 days after the closing of the bid. 10. Contractor shall provide proof of valid WSIB. 11. Contractor shall provide proof of a $2 million commercial liability insurance. A bid bond/certificate cheque representing 10% of your bid shall be submitted with your proposal, which will be returned once the work has been completed to the satisfaction of the Village Foreman. The work shall be completed prior to May 17, 2024 (unless other arrangements are made with The Village of Burk's Falls or a penalty charge of $200.00 per day shall be applied).
