Replace the roof of the Conotton Valley Union Local Junior/Senior High School with the attached General Conditions and Specifications as defined by the Conotton Valley Union Local School District ( District). Please submit one original and two copies of the Proposal. Faxed or emailed Proposals will not be accepted. If any questions arise from the RFP, the bidder may submit to Kale Sellards, Director of Buildings and Grounds, a request for interpretation via email at kale.sellards@ cvul.org. Any interpretation documents will be made by addendum to the RFP. All questions should be emailed to kale.sellards@cvul.org no later than 3:30 pm, Friday, October 13, 2023. All questions that arise that require an addendum will be posted to the district website no later than Friday, October 20, 2023. Sealed Proposals will be received in the district s administrative office. All Proposals shall be clearly marked as follows: Roof Replacement: Conotton Valley Union Local School District Junior/Senior High School SUCCESSFUL BIDDER WILL INSTALL THE FOLLOWING PER MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS: 1. Remove single ply roofing from the existing taper package. Replace taper package as needed. 2. Install new 1.5" ISO over existing taper package. 3. Install 15 mechanical fasteners per sheet. 4. Fully adhere 0.60 PVC membrane. (White in Color) 5. Wrap all parapet walls with 0.60 PVC. 6. Install coping on all exterior walls to match the lower roof. (Light Stone in Color) 7. Thermal weld the flashing. 8. Raise all RTU legs and items on the roof 1.5". 9. Remove and discard existing units that are no longer in use or are functional. Repair roof as necessary due to the removal process. 9. Provide a 30 year minimum material warranty. 10. Required 2 year workmanship warranty
