Renovation of a power facility in Ione, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Scope of services to include, but not be limited to the Design and engineer a rotor pole key retainer system for the salient pole rotors of the generation units at Box Canyon Dam, Ione, WA. The retainer system must integrate with the existing four (4) generator units in a manner that will not decrease unit performance nor cause unit damage. The final product shall not cause additional mechanical vibration or heating of the units. The key retainer system is to be designed to remain intact during all unit overspeed conditions. The key retainer system shall meet all applicable electrical codes and ANSI design standards. The key retainer system will be designed to use materials that will withstand forces experienced under continuous usage as well as forces expected during emergency conditions.
