Public Utility District No. 1 of Pend Oreille County is requesting bids from prospective distributors for a power transformer for its Bare Mountain Substation. Bids should meet the specifications as defined in the Technical Specifications in Section 5 of the Material Procurement Contract & Specification, available through the District’s online contracting portal. The transformer is to be delivered as defined in these specifications. Bid submissions must include a bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, should include Washington State Sales Tax, and must be accompanied by a completed bid proposal form (including lead-times), bid bond form with all supplemental forms and data, and the completed technical data form found in Section 4 of the Material Procurement Contract & Specification. Proposals must be submitted using the District's online contracting portal. Questions related to the submittal must be sent via the same portal. The District will evaluate each submitted bid for completeness and may reject any that do not meet minimum requirements. The contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder whose proposal is most advantageous to the District, based on cost and other factors defined in the Material Procurement Contract & Specification.
