Per the owner, as of November 20, 2024, this project is undergoing permitting and construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2025. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .......... Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (Midpen or District) seeks a team led by a Civil Engineer to provide professional design and engineering services for the Prospect Road Culvert Replacement Project (Project). The Project will repair a culvert and road damaged during the winter storms of 2022/2023 at Fremont Older Open Space Preserve (Fremont Older). The winter storms of 2022/2023 resulted in damage to an existing perched culvert, which runs underneath an approximately 10-foot-wide traffic-rated, multi-use asphalt road. Materials under and around the existing 35-foot long by 48-inch diameter corrugated metal pipe culvert were washed out and approximately 10-feet of the culvert collapsed. There was also damage to a 5-foot tall by 1-foot wide by 4-foot-deep headwall with unclassified fill Question Deadline 11/02/2023 at 3:00 PM PT Questions related to this RFPQ must be submitted by the deadline provided herein via Periscope or email to aharker@openspace.org. Answers and updated information will be distributed via Electronically. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
