As of January 19, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. Atimeline for the award was not yet been established. In August 2023, the District began construction to remodel the large office suite on the first floor of their Administrative Office building located at 5050 El Camino Real in Los Altos. The purpose of this project is to procure and install cubicles (six (6) pods of four (4) cubicles) in this office space. The District is requesting lightly used, refurbished, or new cubicles (sit-stand ready) for this procurement. Procurement and Installation Class D-34 or Class B Contractor license is required. The License required for this Agreement is Class D-34 or Class B Contractor License. All subcontractors must possess an appropriate license that is current and valid at the commencement of and throughout the Term of the Agreement. In consideration of District's reliance on and investigation and consideration of the Bid Proposal of the undersigned, the undersigned agrees that such Bid shall be irrevocable and shall not be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days following the Bid opening even though an award is made to another Bidder. Thereafter, such Bid shall be automatically relieved. No Bid will be considered unless accompanied by a guarantee in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Total Base Bid, which shall be one of the following: (a) a Bid Bond supplied in the enclosed Bid Form written by an admitted surety satisfactory to the District in its sole discretion, (b) a certified or cashier's check made payable to the District, or (c) a cash deposit. As required by law, the Contractor shall pay all workers California prevailing wages for each trade or classification on the job during the term of this project. These rates include employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation, travel time, subsistence pay and apprenticeship or training. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals, to waive any informality, minor technical defect, or irregularity in Bid Proposals, and to accept or reject any items of a Bid Proposal. The District, at its discretion, may reject as incomplete any bid which is in any way conditional, includes exceptions, alterations or omissions, or includes reservations to the terms of the Bid Proposal form, drawings, specifications, or other contract documents.
