Request for Qualifications and Bid Notice. The Town of Thomaston of Thomaston, CT is soliciting Request for Qualifications and Bids (RFQ/BID) from General Contractors for ""THOMASTON OPERA HOUSE RENOVATIONS PHASE 1"" in Thomaston, CT. The project consists of the renovation of existing backstage areas with the addition of an office and one bathroom, and the addition of a driveway, loading dock, service elevator, elevator shaft and upper floor corridor, and the addition of insulation, plywood floor and lighting in the attic above the Opera House. The project is financed through the Connecticut Department of Community Development (DECD), with Connecticut State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) review. Owner reserves the right to accept any submittal or reject any submittal and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the submittal. An Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
