**As of December 29, 2023, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** The work includes repairing masonry abutments of an existing bridge across Carter Road. Construction Start Date: July 15, 2024 Calendar days for completion: 138 days (November 30, 2024 Questions and requests for information shall be directed to the Town until 4:00 PM on December 11, 2023 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer via email at CRDubuque@tighebond.com . The Drawings and the Project Manual, will be available from the Engineer s website: November 14, 2023 Bid deposit in the form of a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the maximum total amount of the Bid and made payable to the Town of Thomaston, Connecticut Performance and Payment Bonds, in the full amount of the Contract price, will be required of the Successful Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids The Town of Thomaston reserves the right to cancel the project if funding is not approved.
