Questions due by: 10/13/2023 Addendum (if any) will be posted by: 10/16/2023 This Contract contemplates the complete construction of the renovations at the 2023 Minneapolis City Facility Gate Replacement Project, located at 5th Police Precinct and the Hamilton SOC, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. Work to be performed consists of the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, installation, handling, delivery at site, necessary insurance and permits, erection and other required items for landscaping, landscaping demolition, and general conditions as shown in the Contract Documents on file in the Minneapolis Finance and Property Services Department, Property Services Division and with the Purchasing Agent of the City of Minneapolis. Substantial Project Completion: Ten weeks from Date of Award 1.1.2 The gate must cover a drive lane opening with minimal fencing to accommodate and close any exposed space between the gate and the perimeter fence. o 5 th Police Precinct - Approximately 24' o Hamilton SOC - Approximately 16' North Gate and approximately 16' South Gate Contractor must field verify all measurements 1.1.3 Safety Features: o 1 - 10K Mon Gate Safety Edge Sensor - shall be mounted at fence post near the operator (Draw-in Entrapment Zone) o 1 - Edge Wireless Kit (Receiver and Transmitter for Safety Edges) o 2 - Photo Eye Systems (1 for open sequence and 1 for close sequence) o 3 - Loop Detectors (Vehicle Obstruction Loop, Vehicle Exit Loop, and Free Exit Loop) o 1 - Presence Sensor (Safety and Secondary Activation) 1.1.4 Gate Operators must be an approved product (see approved products, section 7.1.1). Operators must be mounted inside the fenced area to accommodate proper sliding distance for both gates. 1.2 Fencing and Pedestrian Gates: NA 1.3 This general specification shall not be construed as being all inclusive.
